Email account configuration using Microsoft Outlook Express
Open Microsoft Outlook Express.
Click on Tools > "Accounts..."
Click on "Add" > Mail…
Fill in your name as the Display name and click on “Next >” button to continue.
Key in your full email address and Click on "Next >" button to continue.
> Select "POP3" under "My incoming server is....
> Key in your Incoming mail server information
( example :mail.yourdomain.com ).
> Key in your Outgoing mail server information
( example : mail.yourdomain.com ).
> Click on "Next >" button to continue.
Fill in your full email address as your Account name.
Fill in your password.
Click on "Next >"
Click on "Finish".
Click to select your email account under “Account” and Click on “Properties”.
Click on “Servers” under second sub menu and check on "My server requires authentication”
Click on " Advanced " button and change port no. 25 to "26" under "Outgoing server(SMTP)".
Click on "Advanced" under second sub menu, under "Outgoing server(SMTP)" , change to "26" .
Click on “OK” button to finish configuration.
TIPS :
- You can add more than 1 email account under Microsoft Outlook Express by repeat same
configuration's step.
Signatures configuration using Microsoft Outlook Express
Open Microsoft Outlook.
Click on Tools > "Options"
Click on "Signatures" button under sub menu.
Click on “New” button under Signature’s sub menu.
Fill in your signature's detail.
Click on “Apply” and follow “OK” button to finish configuration.
TIPS : - Under "Signature settings", you may unchecked "Don't add signatures to Replies and Forwards" in
order to add signatures to all out going mails.
